Choose the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK "Use a proxy server for your LAN", then click OK both windows appeared. Refresh your browser both Chrome & IE should work back normally.

2. Allow Chrome in your firewall and antivirus settings. You can solve this problem by temporarily unistall or pause your Antivirus when connecting. It is an antivirus problem... uninstall or pause your antivirus and then try to connect. It will definitely work..this is due to the wrong connections from chrome with antivirus.

3. Check all connections to and from your computer. Or if you use a router, unplug the router for 10 minutes and plug back in. This should reset your router and also restart your computer.

If Chrome won't show you any pages except about:blank then on of your disk utility programs is blocking internet access. Spyware Doctor (PcTools) is one application that does that. If you have Windows XP and Chrome has no internet connection then get this
