There are a number of reasons why you may be encountering this 106 (net::ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED) message by your Internet browser. If the problem isn't with your firewall try to do this.

1. Open IE and on the menu: Tools >> Internet Options 
Choose the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK "Use a proxy server for your LAN", then click OK both windows appeared. Refresh your browser both Chrome & IE should work back normally.

Allow Chrome in your firewall and antivirus settings. You can solve this problem by temporarily unistall or pause your Antivirus when connecting. It is an antivirus problem... uninstall or pause your antivirus and then try to connect. 3. Check all connections to and from your computer. Or if you use a router, unplug the router for 10 minutes and plug back in. This should reset your router and also restart your computer.
